  • What is a network center?

    We provide a standard telecommunications data center environment for placing your networking equipment. A VPN is set up in conjunction with our own networking system to provide improved networking performance and deliver a win-win outcome.

    It is suitable for the financial industry, securities industry, government agencies, and corporations with multiple sites throughout Taiwan that require network redundancy or management.

  • What is the difference between web center and network center services?

    The web center service is where user servers (e.g. Web Server (TCP/IP) is placed in our company's data center and connected to the Internet via the Digicentre data center. The network center service is where the user's networking equipment is placed in our company's data center.

  • What is bandwidth in?

    The number of bits that enter the server placed in the data center via the Digicentre network every second.

  • What is bandwidth out?

    The number of bits that enter the Digicentre network from the server placed in the data center every second.

  • How is the monthly lease calculated when the bandwidth in and bandwidth out are not equal?

    When the bandwidth in and bandwidth out are not equal, the monthly lease, the monthly Internet bandwidth plan that corresponds to their average is used.

  • What are the costs involved with Co-Location?

    Apart from the fixed monthly fees (monthly rack rental and Internet bandwidth fees), a provisioning fee is charged upon initial application or change of transmission speed.

  • How long do applications take?

    Once you submit an application, we will contact you as soon as possible to organize the equipment installation and connection time based on your planned starting date. Services will become available on the same day that the installation takes place.

  • What is Co-Location?

    If the customers want to set up their own web site right away without having to wait for a fixed line to be set up, worry about connectivity issues, and go to the trouble of preparing their own dedicated data center (racks, air-conditioning, uninterruptible power systems (UPS), network setup), then the solution is to move the customer's own independent website to the Internet Service's Provider (ISP) own data center. It can then be connected to the Internet via the local area network (connections are generally over Ethernet networks) provided by the ISP. It usually takes only a few hours to bring the customer's web server online (excluding the time taken for domain name registration). Co-location service therefore allows the customer to place their web server in the ISP's data center.

    Use of co-location means savings on fixed line leasing costs, data center construction costs and network maintenance costs. Efficiency

    The shorter initial setup time reduces time to market. Connecting to the Internet backbone through the ISP's Ethernet network reduces router hop count, reducing network latency and improving performance. Reliability

    Connecting to the Internet backbone through the ISP's Ethernet network offers advantages such as a lower fault rate than fixed leased lines. If the Ethernet network provided by the ISP offers redundancy then network reliability becomes even higher. Expandability

    Connecting to the Internet backbone through the ISP's Ethernet network means network bandwidths in excess of 100 Mbps. If Gigabit Ethernet connectivity is provided by the ISP in the future, then bandwidth can reach up to 1000 Mbps. Management
